352 Peck Street

If you see a grey, rainy day, look again. The day was beautiful as a family broke ground to begin the journey of building their own home. On December 16, Raise the Roof celebrated a groundbreaking with the family of Maritza Rodriguez and Jason Villa at 352 Peck Street, Raise the Roof’s fifteenth sponsored Habitat build.

Thank you to all who have helped the Rodriguez-Villa family build this house. This is how a community builds…

Morgan Peer Advocates

A special note of thanks is given to the Morgan Peer Advocates, recognized for bringing “hearts for service to new heights” during their volunteer day at 352 Peck Street on February 9. The page pairs this acknowledgment with a large photo gallery showing students and volunteers working on the build site.

Daniel Hand Habitat Club

The Daniel Hand Habitat Club is thanked for its work at Peck Street on March 9, with multiple photos documenting their efforts. The page adds that the club returned on March 23, this time with paint rollers in hand, helping move the project toward completion.

Temple Beth Tikvah

Temple Beth Tikvah is recognized as a long‑time partner that has helped build all fifteen of Raise the Roof’s sponsored Habitat houses to date. The write‑up expresses gratitude for their March 24 day of service at Peck Street, noting their continued support and visible enthusiasm.

Defibtech Volunteers and Final Work

Defibtech volunteers are thanked for two days of building at Peck Street, with a note that Raise the Roof “loves building with this group” alongside an extensive photo series from their workdays. The page concludes by noting that the Daniel Hand Habitat Club returned for a third Saturday to help wrap up work at the site, earning a well‑deserved pizza break after their consistent service.
