HABITAT RESTORE IN WALLINGFORD
Have a heart for retail, Habitat, and helping? Have we got a deal for you! Volunteers at Habitat for Humanity of Greater New Haven’s ReStore have the opportunity to peruse treasures that include new and gently used furniture, appliances, kitchen cabinets, sinks, tools, lighting, and more, all while getting to meet other Restore volunteers, Habitat homeowners, and customers. Volunteers help with greeting and assisting customers and organizing and creating displays, and the ReStore proceeds support Habitat homebuilding— including the work of Raise the Roof.
The ReStore is open Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 10 AM – 4 PM, and Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday10:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Volunteers may assist for the full day or half the day. High school and college students working on community service hours are welcome. Shoppers are welcome, too! Register in VolunteerUp to help at the ReStore.
